Reasons for oil pump failure:
Generally speaking, the mechanical oil pump is very reliable. Even if there is a failure, the diaphragm is often ruptured and the oil supply is insufficient. Sometimes the excessive wear of the rocker arm or spring of the oil pump will also cause insufficient oil delivery, which is easier to identify. The old oil pump can be repaired, but the new oil pump can not be disassembled, and it will be replaced if it fails.

1. First check whether the push rod that drives the diaphragm in the pump mechanism is damaged. Use your fingers to gently block the oil pump inlet and try to start the engine. If you feel suction, you can prove that the push rod is intact.
2. There is no feeling of being sucked by the fingertips, indicating that the push rod is damaged, and the fuel injection pump should be replaced as a whole.
Note: When the electric fuel injection pump is working, if there is a strong pump oil sound, it means that the pump is intact, if there is no such pump oil sound, it means that the fuel supply pump has failed.
